This guy just seems to have some of the same characteristics I do. He knows he is going to deny Jesus, yet looks him in the face and tells Him no. He eats with Him. Jesus never once gets mad at this. Jesus knows that this must happen to fulfill the scriptures. His desire to is to do what the Father wants Him to do. Judas’ desire is of selfish reasons.

Wow. To be more like Jesus we have to put forth our best. This means daily. Taking the time to hear from the Father so that you know what His desires are for you. How many times a day do we run from what He wants us to do? I am amazed at how much He loves me. I am like Judas so many days. I don’t do things He wants, and I do things I want. Then, I expect to be able to eat with Him. Whoa unto me, for I am a sinful man. During this time of Passover, never forget that it cost Jesus for forgiveness. I encourage you to take a bowl and put some bread in it for the next couple of days – set it out. Always remember that you dip your hand and eat with Jesus daily. Spend time with Him, He loves you unconditionally!
